Privacy Policy | AI for the Job

The short version. I collect your email address so I can send you the prompt packs and the occasional update. I don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone who isn't helping me run the site. You can leave at any time with one click, and if you want everything I hold on you deleted, email me and I'll do it.

Who's collecting this

This site is run by Dan Harrigan, AI for the Job, based in Queensland, Australia. If you need to reach a human about anything on this page, email hello@aiforthejob.com.

What I collect, and why

Your email address, when you ask for a free prompt pack or join a waitlist. I use it to send you the download, to tell you when a book or an update goes live, and to send occasional related offers. That's it.
Your name and email, if you buy a Pro Pack, so I can deliver the files and answer questions about your order.
Basic delivery data from the email platform — whether a message was delivered and opened — which I use to work out whether the emails are any good.

I don't ask for, want, or store your customers' details, your prices, your job records, or anything you put into an AI tool. None of that touches this site.

Card payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never reaches this site and I never see it. Stripe passes me your email address, your name, and confirmation the payment cleared, so I can send your files. Stripe's own privacy policy governs what they do with your payment data.

Who else touches your data

MailerLite — sends the emails and stores the list.
Stripe — processes payments.
Netlify — hosts the site and its server logs.
Cloudflare — anonymous, cookieless page-view counts.
Microsoft — Clarity, which records how pages are used.

Each of these is a processor acting on my instructions. Some are outside Australia, which means your email address may be stored overseas. I don't sell your data to anybody, and I don't run advertising trackers on this site.

Cookies

This site runs no advertising trackers — no Facebook pixel, no ad network, and nothing I sell or share with advertisers. Two analytics tools run here. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and referrers and is cookieless — it stores nothing on your device. Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and a replay of the page as you saw it, and it does set a couple of cookies so it can tell one visit apart from the next. Clarity masks text you type into forms. Neither tool tells me who you are by name, and neither is used for advertising.

How long I keep it

Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Purchase records are kept for seven years because Australian tax law requires it.

Your choices

Unsubscribe — one click at the bottom of any email, no reply needed.
See what I hold — email me and I'll send it.
Correct or delete it — email me and I'll do it, usually the same day.
Complain — email me first and I'll try to sort it out. If you're not satisfied you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

If you're in the UK or the EU, the UK GDPR and the GDPR give you these same rights and a few more; email me and I'll honour them the same way.

Children

This site is for people running a business. It isn't aimed at anyone under 16 and I don't knowingly collect their details.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, I'll email the list rather than quietly editing the page.
